Ham Radio Extreme Durability Test – Wouxun KG-UV8H / KG-935G

In this video I put the Wouxun KG-UV8H ham radio (aka KG-935G GMRS model) through several extreme abuse tests to see how durable this HT radio is.

This testing stems from self-appointed experts online that claim that Wouxun radios are no more than ‘cheap Chinese junk’ and that they ‘fall apart easily’. To test the expert claims I submit this Wouxon to serval tests of abuse.

I start the abuse by calling the radio names and attacking it’s self-esteem. I then move on to more extreme tests like transmitting without an antenna, submerging the radio under water for 15 minutes, freezing the radio, running it over with a car, and finally, burning the radio.
