Berdoo Canyon To Joshua Tree Spring 2019 Run

Some photos from our annual “Berdoo Canyon Road to Joshua Tree” spring run – one of our favorite off-road runs. Going into the “back side” of Joshua Tree via Berdoo Canyon is an easy run that any stock Jeep or 4×4 truck can easily negotiate. There are a few rocky areas that might intimidate novice off-road drivers, but with a little help everyone can make this run.

We started the day in Coachella and made our way up Berdoo Canyon Road. It took about 3 hours for the 29 Jeeps and trucks to reach our lunch destination, “Squaw Tank” in Joshua Tree National Park, just off Geology Tour Road. After a quick lunch we turned around and went back down Berdoo Canyon, this time stopping at a few extra-credit spots, including the “Sand Hill”.

Photos below, in no particular order. Click on the pictures to make them larger. If you were on this run and would like a full-sized, high-resoltion copy of a photo, please email your request to Randy @ notarubicon . com

Thanks to everyone who helped make this a really fun day on the trail. Met new people, went new places, did new things; can’t ask for a better day than that. This was my first time going out with the notarubicon family and I’m looking forward to more adventures with you guys and gals in the future. The pics are fantastic; you really managed to catch the fun and camaraderie of the day.
