Brooklyn Mine Near Joshua Tree

We took a ride from Twentynine Palms to Brooklyn Mine in the Old Dale Mining District, just outside of Joshua Tree National Park – stopping at “The Flag Building” (aka Sunset Mine), Rose of Peru Mine, Gold Standard Mine, and finally, Brooklyn Mine.

Brooklyn Mine – Old Dale Mining District

This .GPX track-file starts at Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms and goes to Brooklyn Mine. This is a mildly difficult track that requires a 4×4 vehicle with high clearance.

    My wheeling buddy and I were just talking about your website while we were out there on Saturday. It was a funny coincidence to see you out there. I was in the black 4Runner following a black Cherokee that waved you guys to pass us on Old Dale Road.
