During the 2016 “Turdfest” at Calico, Jeremy Reese took his 1990 Jeep YJ up to “The Gatekeeper”.
The Gatekeeper is a short section of trail, approximately 200 yards long. Actually, most people would not consider The Gatekeeper a “trail”. It’s a narrow canyon full of rocks ranging in size from small boulders to small houses. To make it through The Gatekeeper you have to climb up, over, and between several of these boulders. The Gatekeeper is rated as “Extreme”.
